日本：灾害与广播节目为难民博得版面
宗田胜也相信公众对世界议题的漠不关心正在使日本衰颓。2004年2月，勝也開辦了著眼於難民議題的廣播節目「難民Now！」（難民ナウ！），透過京都的社區廣播電台對外播放。节目开头，胜也以京都味儿的方言说出开场白：「又是时候来听难民Now！本节目报导难民议题一如气象报导。」
